I was recently asked if I would like to try some gourmet marshmallows from www.fluffypuffpuffs.com, yes there is such a thing as gourmet marshmallows. Don’t believe me? Take a look…

The marshmallows arrived individually sealed in little plastic packets, they look fantastic and wouldn’t look out of place at parties.

I was sent 5 flavours to try: Sugar & Spice, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Drizzle, Lime Punch, Raspberry and Love Currant.

I have to say marshmallow isn’t my first choice of sweet but I was looking forward to trying them. The first one I tried and my favourite was the Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Drizzle, I liked the added taste and texture of the chocolate on top.

The Love Currant and Raspberry are both really nice, they have a nice light fluffy texture and have a nice fruity taste.

I wasn’t sure about trying the Sugar & Spice as I didn’t know what to expect but it was really tasty and the added crunch of the sugar is nice.

The only Marshmallow I wasn’t keen on was the Lime one. I’m not a lover of limes so I didn’t think I would enjoy it, it did look delicious though.

The marshmallows don’t contain any preservatives which means they have a shelf life of 6 to 8 weeks.

The marshmallows are made to order so they will arrive fresh and ready to eat. It is advised to allow up to 5 working days to receive you mallows.

Currently the Marshmallows aren’t suitable for vegetarians however there is a range of vegetarian marshmallows in the pipeline. There are also new flavours due to be launched soon, including: Mulled wine fruit & nut mallow, orange caramel swirl, apple crumble.

The marshmallows are priced from £3 for a packet of 6 for more information on prices and to buy your own Gourmet marshmallows head over to www.fluffypuffpuffs.com.
