The Laughing Cow has just introduced 2 new flavours to their light range and at only 25 calories per triangle we can enjoy them guilt free!
I was really looking forward to trying the Blue Cheese version. I like blue cheese but it’s not something I eat on a regular basis. I decided to try it spread on toast and it is delicious! It is creamy, slightly tangy and full of flavour!

I asked Maxx if he would like to try some but recently he hasn’t been keen on trying new things and he declined when I said it was blue cheese. I showed him it wasn’t actually blue but there was no changing his mind after that.

I really like the Emmental light too, it is creamy and full of flavour and great for eating straight from the fridge as a snack.  Maxx also tried the light Emmental on toast and crackers, he said it was yummy so it gets a thumbs up from him too.

I am always sceptical when there is a light version of a product. I often find the light version to be lacking in taste and although it might be half the calories it is usually also half the taste. I was pleasantly surprised with The Laughing Cow Light versions. The Emmental and Blue Cheese are both full of flavour, exactly what you would expect from The Laughing Cow.

The great thing about the cheese triangles is they can be used in so many different ways.

There is the traditional cheese spread on toast or cheese and crackers but how about adding some Blue Cheese to a baked potato, mixing some Emmental into pasta or why not try stuffing a chicken breast with blue cheese and wrapping in bacon (This is one I will be trying). There are so many different ways you can use the cheese to add a twist to your meals. If you would like more meal inspiration you can head over to The Laughing Cow Recipe Section on the website.

The Laughing Cow is available now in Tesco and Asda in 128g round boxes of eight triangles on shelf with the cheese spreads – RRP: £1.25.
