Goodbye 2013 and Hello 2014

Cheers to 2014!

Well 2013 has had it’s ups and it’s downs but the main thing is I’m still here and I’m still smiling! Life can often throw things at you that are unexpected and challenging and I think these situations give us the perfect opportunity to learn and grow.

I have a few things in the pipeline blog wise for 2014. I have a couple of regular posts I will be introducing to you all in the next couple of weeks, I am also contemplating a new look. I know I haven’t had this one long but what can I say I have itchy feet and crave change. So don’t get a fright if you come online and there is a new look.

Everyday wise I have set myself 2 goals for 2014. I have decided I will not drink any fizzy juice for the year as last year I drank far too much of it. I have also decided to have an earlier bed time as on occasions I have been up past 2am finishing off work. These are both changes that I’m sure will have a positive impact on my life and I’m really looking forward to the changes.

What I’m looking forward to in 2014:

  • The birth of my niece :)
  • Spending as much time as possible with family and friends
  • Organising my nephew Maxx’s birthday
  • Learning to drive (I hope, I said that last year)
  • Starting a new chapter career wise
  • Visiting the commonwealth games (fingers crossed)
  • Going on holiday abroad
  • Moving House (woohoo)
  • Studying photography
  • Getting healthy

I am also hoping to meet up with a lovely friend I met online and have now known for years! Time has flown by.. We have spoken about meeting up before but it hasn’t happened yet, hopefully 2014 will be the year I can meet Louise who also blogs at My Three and Me.

I will sign off by saying I hope 2014 brings you everything you hope for. I am a firm believer in you reap what you sow and karma so if you treat others as you would like to be treated good things will happen!

Have a great 2014 everyone!

It sounds like you are going to be busy in 2014! Do keep on with the learning to drive, it really does make life much easier and career-wise I’ve found it more useful than having a degree.
