Since moving house I have been without a microwave, and boy do I miss having one. They’re so convenient when time is short. What can take 35 minutes in the oven only takes 8 minutes in the microwave. That’s why I have been looking for a new one recently. I miss being able to pop the rice in the microwave for 2 minutes, instead of spending 10 minutes standing over the hob.
Another reason I really want a microwave is to try out some of the delicious desserts you can make using them! I knew you could make a few things in the microwave, cupcake in a mug for example, but there’s so much more that you can make in the microwave and I want to give the recipes a go. It’s not just desserts either, you can make meals too such as quiche, poached eggs and even chicken fajitas. It’s quite incredible how much can be cooked in the microwave, especially if you have a combination microwave oven by Panasonic which has the option to grill, steam and bake.
I didn’t want to be greedy, so I thought I would share 5 of the delicious dessert recipes I found so you can enjoy them too.
