Christmas Day 2012

I can’t believe that’s it for another year!
I hope all of my lovely blog readers had a wonderful Christmas.

Our day went as follows:
We got up around 6 am and Maxx opened his stocking whilst we waited for the rest of the family to come over to open the presents. Maxx loved opening his stocking and looking at the funny things Santa had left him. He especially liked his practical jokes and his SpongeBob goo.
After everyone had arrived we headed downstairs to where Maxx’s presents were waiting for him. His face when he saw them was a picture he was very surprised that Santa managed to fit them all in his sleigh. As you can see by his expression he was very happy Santa remembered to bring his Henry hoover as he had been asking for this for the last couple of months. His favourite present was his rocking horse which he spent a lot of the day playing on.
After we had opened our presents it was time to think about dinner. Thankfully Christmas dinner was taken care of by my mum and my sisters boyfriend who cooked the Beef Wellington. Some of us had Beef Wellington and some of us had chicken with all of the trimmings of course. It’s always my favourite meal of the year nothing can beat it.
After dinner we had some cake and played the usual board games which ended up being very competitive. I’ll blame that on the males in the family, they get too carried away! We all had a fantastic day, it was lovely to spend the day with the everyone, we don’t get to do it often so it means a lot when we do.
Here’s to Christmas 2013, or is it too early to say that?!
