CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 2015 | FOR KIDS

Kids Gift Ideas For Children 2015 - Lindy Loves

I always find it exciting buying gifts for children and love picking out presents for my niece and nephews. Imagining the excitement and the look on their face when they open the present and the hours of fun they will have playing with it. There’s a phenomenal amount of toys on the market which can make it difficult when trying to separate the good from the bad. This gift guide has items for the younger members of the family right up to early teens, for both boys and girls so if you’re stuck for ideas you should find some inspiration below.

LeapPad Platinum

Tablets are a popular choice for children at Christmas, but it can be a minefield choosing the right one. If you have a child between the age of 3 and 9 why not invest in a tablet that will grow with them. The LeapPad Platinum is LeapFrogs biggest and best tablet yet. It’s kid-safe, kid-tough, kid-smart and packed full of great features. It has a 7″ multi-touch screen with a sharp display, a front and rear facing camera, is Wi-Fi enable so children can access the kid-safe web, has a battery life of 5+hours and a shatter-safe screen with wrap around bumper making it the toughest LeapPad tablet yet. The tablet comes with 10 apps and 6 Imagicard cards to get children started, with over 1,000 games and apps (sold separately) there’s plenty to keep children engaged and entertained. Thanks to the clever parental controls you don’t need to worry about how long they spend playing on the tablet as you can set a password protected timer, you can also manage Wi-Fi activity, app purchases and more. As well as being a great source of fun the tablet also provides great educational values too. The LeapPad Platinum is available in purple or green.

LeapFrog Imagicard

Imagicard cards are a first of it’s kind digital and physical learning experience for children. Simply snap a picture of the Imagicard and the character and learning are magically brought to life. The interactive collectable cards are a great educational tool and feature a range of top licensed characters. Initial releases for the Imagicard range includes LeapFrog Letter Factory which is aimed at children aged 4 to 7, Paw Patrol for ages 3 to 5 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for ages 5 to 8. Each Imagicard set contains 30+ collectable cards, included in the set is a handy tin to keep the cards safely tucked away until they are ready to be used, there’s also a play mat for card sorting and learning activities. Imagicards are a fantastic addition to the LeapFrog range and really help bring fun and learning to life and capture children’s imagination. Imagicard cards work on all LeapPad tablets, excluding LeapPad 1.
