When I think of Autumn, I think of cosy jumpers, woollen scarfs and fur lined boots – bliss. There’s something about autumn that makes me feel content – flickering candles, blankets and bonfire night.
Although autumn has already begun, I’m a little behind and have yet to get to town to buy some new autumn items. On a positive note, that has given me plenty of time to browse online and find a few items I’m loving, so I thought I would share them with you. I can’t wait to go shopping this week to pick up some cosy essentials to see me through the cold autumn and winter months.
This Topshop t-shirt has been huge on Instagram, with everyone from celebs to bloggers jumping on the bandwagon. It would look great paired with the jeans which are also pictured because of its simple but stylish look. The t-shirt is sold out online but I’m hoping to pick it up in store this week – fingers crossed.
I know they’re not to everyone’s taste, but I love a cosy pair of UGG boots. Yes, they are pricey, but they’re well made, comfortable and if they’re looked after they will last a long time. I found a huge selection of Uggs on Lyst, there are also some new styles I haven’t seen before. My favourite colour is the chestnut boots and I’m lusting after the calf high Bailey Button Uggs at the moment. They look so cosy and I really like the style, they’re instantly recognisable as Uggs.
Fashion changes with the seasons and so does makeup. Autumn sees gorgeous berry lips come into play and I love this look. Trying such a dark colour can be daunting, but there are various autumnal shades available that would be perfect for this season. I love the Mac lipstick in Sin, it’s a lovely mid berry shade which would be easy to wear but look perfect for autumn.
I tend to live in jeans. They’re so versatile, no matter what the time of year, and there are so many styles, cuts and colours available. As soon as I saw the Jamie Jeans I fell in love. Skinny jeans are my favourite style of jeans so they tick that box, I like the light colour and the embroidered flowers add a lovely colourful touch. They would look great with a tucked in t-shirt.
No outfit is complete without a new bag and this bag is the things dreams are made of! Pink, grey and PomPoms! What’s not to like? I have to admit that I do favour River Island bags over other similar high street brands. They are always very well made, on trend and reasonably priced.
A cosy jumper is an essential part of any autumn/winter wardrobe and this one looks so cosy. I love the fact it’s a dress style jumper. The neutral colour means I can team it with a lot of different colours, and at only £18 I think it’s a bargain.
I’m really looking forward to buying a few new items for autumn and winter, especially now that I’ve lost weight.
I would love to know what’s on your autumn wishlist?
