ENJOYING YOUR GARDEN INTO AUTUMN

It’s officially Autumn and that means colder days, less sun and more rain. Sad but true. It means we spend less time in the garden and more time cuddled up indoors, but it doesn’t have to! There are ways you can extend the use of your garden so you can continue enjoying it into Autumn and beyond!

I have put together an Autumn garden wish list (pictured above). It includes items which I think would make enjoying the outdoors throughout Autumn possible. The first item I included was the amazing lime green teardrop chair, I fell in love with this instantly. I love the colour, the style and how cosy it looks! That takes me on to the next item, the very autumnal mustard throw, this is the perfect accessory to the chair and will help keep chills at bay. Of course an obvious choice in my wish list was the patio heater which would make enjoying the garden even into those chilly Autumn and Winter evenings possible. I had to include a bit of style and greenery and that came in the form of the gorgeous copper hanging planter, it looks really gorgeous and adds something a bit different to the outdoor space. I also included a very delicious looking hot chocolate (with cream!) as it’s the perfect drink to enjoy during the colder months and I couldn’t leave out something to read as there’s nothing better than relaxing in the garden with a book in hand.

Last but by no means least I would love to invest in one of the fantastic patio awnings from Caribbean Blind’s. They look amazing and having one means the garden can be enjoyed come rain or shine. Knowing the good old British weather which can provide four seasons in one day, these awnings would be the perfect addition to any garden. I could sit my chair under the awning and enjoy the garden in any weather. This year I won’t be hiding indoors during the Autumn and Winter months, I will continue to enjoy the garden as much as I can. Do you use your garden through Autumn and Winter?
