GETTING SUMMER READY WITH LYST

I recently spoke about wanting to update my Summer wardrobe and since then I have been browsing, bookmarking and lusting after a lot of gorgeous Summer clothes. I’m pretty impressed with the choice available this year. My firm favourites include the lace up sandals which wrap around your leg, I think they look great with skirts or dresses. I also love the fact there are so many quirky and unique clothing items hitting the shelves this year,  I’m all for a bit of individuality.

My obsession with finding a new Summer wardrobe only got worse when I was introduced to Lyst, an online shop that brings the world’s greatest and most loved designers together in one place. Teamed with smart technology, Lyst helps create a personal shopping experience for every user.

I spent quite a while browsing all of the gorgeous items on Lyst and found so many things I would love to own. There are too many to share on here, but I thought I would share a few of my favourite items from Lyst for Summer 2016 with you. I absolutely love the items I chose and will be saving to add them to my wardrobe.Lyst wishlist 2016

Charlotte Olympia Feline Black Leather Backpack – £995

Okay, this is a little bit of my crazy cat lady personality coming out here, but who can resist this cute, yet super stylish backpack. Quirky, statement pieces are in for 2016, with cat bags, unicorn shoes and take-away food t-shirts being just some of the popular choices. The bag is made of black buffed leather, with adjustable leather and chain link shoulder straps with a pin-buckle fastening, I think this bag would finish off any outfit perfectly.

Dorothee Schumacher Smart Volumes Dress 3/4 – £199

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it. I love the oversized style, the flare sleeves and the simplicity of it. It means I can go all out accessorising and that’s something I love.

Stella McCartney White Elyse Cut Out Shoes – £543

Shoes, it’s common knowledge that us ladies can never have enough shoes. It took me a while to find the perfect pair and at first I wasn’t sure whether I liked these or not but the more I looked at them the more I really fell in love with them. I love the stark white, the wood, the cutout design and the fact they’re wedge shoes so I could probably walk in them.

Ray-Ban Black Clubmaster Folding Acetate Sunglasses – £180

Sunglasses are a Summer essential,  but there are sunglasses and then there are Ray-Ban sunglasses! A thing of beauty if ever I saw one. These Ray Ban classics scream Summer. I love the shape, the fact there’s a mixture of colours (matt black and gold look amazing together) and the pink tinted lenses look amazing. They also offer high category three UV protection so you will be staying safe in the sun too.

Ben-Amun Gold Bohemian Chains Tassel Necklace – £64

I wasn’t sure whether to team a necklace with the dress, but I felt it needed just a little something and this simple yet chic tassel necklace is just that. It’s the perfect length for the dress and helps add the finishing touch to the outfit.

What do you think of my choices? What’s your go to items for Summer?
