Halloween is over for another year! Since Halloween is one of our favourite holidays and Maxx is old enough to get involved and enjoy it we decided to have a little Halloween party.
We played some fun games which saw us blindfolded and listening to a scary story whilst touching eyeballs, brains and hair – eew, we also played the flour game which Maxx lost bless him but being the good sport he is he stuck his face in the flour and got the spider out with his teeth! We also played the doughnut game which was great but VERY messy since someone (mentioning no names!) decided to cover the doughnuts in golden syrup first!
Maxx really enjoyed his Halloween party and after it was over his mum and I took him out trick-or-treating for the first time. We decided only to go to houses that had Halloween decorations up as not everyone is happy to have people knocking on their door. Maxx had a great time it was really cute watching him knocking on the door and saying trick-or-treat or Happy Halloween, his confidence has come on leaps and bounds since he started school.
I don’t know about you but I for one can’t wait until next Halloween! I’m already bookmarking ideas for pumpkin carving and costumes – crazy maybe but it is fun!
Whether you stayed in or ventured out I hope you all had a lovely Halloween 2013!
