January Favourites

January is now a distant memory, we are well into February so I thought I would share my January Favourites with you all as I enjoy reading what everyone else has been loving. These are basically a few products I couldn’t live without have been loving using during January.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Having always used wipes to remove make up I decided to have a look at what else was available as the wipes are quite drying and harsh on my skin. I came across Garnier Micellar Water in Boots and thought it was worth trying, it claims to remove make up, cleanse and soothe all without rinsing! As you can see I have used a lot of it and so far I’m loving it, it removes makeup effortlessly and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. In fact I need to remember to pick up another bottle when I’m next in town.

Moving has ruined my nails. I had long-ish nails before moving, then came lifting numerous boxes, wardrobes, washing machines etc and now I have no nails. A few of them broke so I cut them all short and will be letting them grow back. I don’t want to make the condition any worse so I have been using the fabulous MICRO Nail gadget which lets me have beautiful natural nails and let them grow.  It takes seconds to change dull lifeless nails into gorgeous shiny nails. You can really my MICRO Nail review here. Thank you MICRO Nail!

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream

I’m a huge Marc Jacobs fan, I love the gorgeous floral scents and have a few perfumes from the range. Recently I have been loving the Daisy Dream scent, it’s a beautiful floral scent which is perfect for day or evening wear and it is fast becoming my go to perfume! It has a definite Spring/Summer feel about it and how amazing is the bottle with all the gorgeous white daisies against the blue perfume – STUNNING! p>

Batise Dry Shampoo

I have never really used dry shampoo in the past but boy have I been missing out. I added the Batise Dry Shampoo to my recent ASOS order and have been using it in between washes to keep my hair looking and feeling fresh, it also adds volume and texture which I love. The scent is really nice too which is always a plus! If I head off to a festival this summer I will be stocking up that’s for sure.

Remington Sleek and Smooth Wide Straighteners

My GHD’s broke at the end of last year and I was gutted because I can’t live without hair straighteners. This might sound dramatic but if you saw my hair in the morning you’d think otherwise. It’s wild and has a life of it’s own! I was going to get a new pair of GHD’s but after looking at a few hair straightener reviews I came across the Remington Sleek and Smooth straighteners and everyone was raving about them so I thought I would give them a go. They were on special offer at the time, I think they were around £27.99 which is a third of the price GHD’s cost and let me tell you they are AMAZING! They straighten my hair in half the time it normally takes and I like the fact you can adjust the heat if you don’t need it on a high setting – yay for no more frazzled ends! I can’t praise them enough, they are fantastic and well worth the price tag.

Is there anything you have been loving during January?
