Valentine’s Day is only a couple of days away, but don’t worry if you’re stuck for ideas. You still have time to hit the shops and find your special someone the perfect gift. You don’t have to spend a fortune either, you can pick up a lot of lovely gifts on a budget, Card Cutters recently shared their Valentine’s Day gift ideas for him and her under £30 and there are some great gift ideas there.
As well as the gift ideas for under £30, I have listed a few additional gift ideas below. After all, it can be hard picking a gift no matter how well you know someone, and there might be an idea or two below that you haven’t thought of but would be the perfect gift.
Flowers & chocolate – Okay, this might be a little cliche, but you can never go wrong with a lovely bunch of flowers and chocolates – not forgetting the card. If you know her favourite type of flowers and chocolates then you’re definitely on to a winner.
Books – Why not surprise your loved one with a selection of books from their favourite author. Or perhaps pick up a few best sellers for them to enjoy.
Perfume – Show me a girl that doesn’t love perfume… If she’s run out of her favourite scent then why not make her smile with a replacement, or buy her a new one which you think she will like.
Pampering Goodies – Why not buy a selection of pampering goodies for her to enjoy. A candle, a face/hair mask, some bath salts, body butter and any other goodies that will let her relax and enjoy some down time.
A canvas print – If you have a photo of you both together that you know she loves why not get it blown up and framed, or have it printed on a canvas. Personalised gifts are a lovely touch and she’ll know you put a lot of thought into it.
Cufflinks – If your Valentine likes to look smart then why not buy them some stylish cufflinks. There’s a huge choice when it comes to cufflinks, but you could even add a little more personalization to the gift, if he loves golf you could get a golf themed set or even both of your initials.
Wallet – Why not get the man in your life a new wallet to keep his money and cards safe. There are so many styles, colours and budget friendly options out there that this is one gift idea which would be a good bet.
Aftershave – Why not buy his favourite aftershave, or pick out one you think he would like to try. Aftershave is a gift that doesn’t really go wrong and there’s usually something to suit every budget.
Favourite tipple – Why not get the gentleman in your life a selection of his favourite alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy. You could even put together a hamper with a few of his favourite drinks and snacks to enjoy.
