REVIEW | MARCH DEGUSTABOX

March Degustabox - Lindy Lloves

I still can’t quite believe March has been and gone and with it another delicious box of goodies from Degustabox. March was a great month for Degustabox with lots of tasty treats. There were drinks, healthy snacks and tasty treats.

Weetabix On The Go

Weetabix On The Go

I’m not the best at eating breakfast and I know that’s the same for a lot of people, this is why I find breakfast bars and drinks so convenient. They make the perfect breakfast for grabbing on the go or when you don’t have time to prepare anything in the morning. The Weetabix On The Go breakfast drinks contain extra protein and all of the energy and fibre of a Weetabix cereal with milk. It also contains 4 vitamins, iron and calcium with no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sweeteners.

Good Hemp

Good Hemp Original

Before this months box arrived I hadn’t tried Good Hemp. I found out it’s a nutritious dairy free alternative to milk. It’s made from hemp seeds and is a natural source of Omega 3 and is also completely allergen free. You can choose from original, unsweetened and coconut. Although it’s not something I would normally buy as I have no allergies it tasted good and is a good milk substitute.

Pasquier

Brioche Pasquier

Pains au Chocolat are delicious, can be enjoyed hot or cold and take just 2-3 minutes to warm up. Individually wrapped, they make the perfect breakfast snack even when you’re on the go. Free from preservatives, hydrogenated fats and artificial colours. They are also great for lunch boxes.

Kents Kitchen Stuffing

Kent’s Kitchen

If you love a good roast dinner and tasty stuffing, then you’re guaranteed to love Kent’s Kitchen stuffing. Made using natural ingredients and chunky pieces of fruit, herbs and spices. The stuffing is easy to make, simply add water, stir, bake and enjoy! Each pot contains enough stuffing for 4 people so there’s plenty to go around.

Chewits

Chewits

The delicious taste of Chewits is something we all know and love. The chewy sweet from our childhood that we still enjoy as adults, what’s not to love! Great for little and big kids.

Lindt Bunny

Lindt

Lindt is one of my favourite chocolates, it’s a little bit of luxury every now and again. The super cute bunny is the perfect Easter treat and is available in white, or milk chocolate. I hadn’t tasted white Lindt chocolate before this months box but I really like it and will definitely buy it again.

Karyatis Meze

Karyatis

If you like dips then you’ll love Karyatis Meze To Go. It brings the taste of the Mediterranean to your snacks. A tasty sweet and smokey roasted red pepper and tangy feta dip, perfectly complimented by crunchy rosemary crackers, all packed in an easy to carry box. I gave this to my dad as it’s not something I would eat and he really enjoyed it.

Pipers Crisps

Pipers Crisps

Crisps are my weakness, so when I saw a delicious packet of Pipers Crisps in this months box I was looking forward to a weekend treat, and I wasn’t disappointed. Pipers Crisps have won 23 Gold Great Taste Awards and have been voted “Best Snack Brand” by the readers of Fine Food Digest four times. Cooked from locally sourced potatoes in sunflower oil and seasoned with flavours sourced from passionate regional suppliers they certainly deserve the praise. The crisps are delicious and make a great snack whilst watching a movie.

Kallo Cakes

Kallo

This month I received two tasty products from Kallo, the Quinoa and Seeds Multigrain Cakes and Milk Chocolate Rice Cake Rounds. The cakes are perfect for enjoying on their own or topped with your favourite ingredients for a tasty snack or light lunch.

Parle Biscuits

Parle

Hide & Seek is India’s best moulded chocolate chip biscuit and they taste delicious. A tasty treat that’s perfect with a cup of tea.

Monaco is a light, crispy biscuit that’s sprinkled with salt. It’s a delicious savoury treat when you don’t want something sweet.

Metcalfe's Skinny Popcorn

Metcalfe’s

Popcorn is a firm family favourite, especially when it comes to cinema snacks. I hadn’t tried Metcalfe’s popcorn before this months box but I have definitely been converted. Cinema Sweet is a new addition to the range and has been sweetened with natural stevia leaf extract. Metcalfe’s skinny are the first to introduce this delicious and unique popcorn. It contains 67% less sugar than all other sweet varieties on the market and with only 93 calories per serving it’s a tasty and guilt free treat!
