Vertbaudet Budding Designers Boy’s V-neck Sweater – Review

Vertbaudet is a popular and much loved brand in France and has been for over 40 years. The brand was launched in the UK in 1997 and is now a firm favourite with UK families too. Vertbaudet offers a wide range of baby and child related products ranging from clothes to furniture to accessories.

Vertbaudet have recently launched their Autumn-Winter collection. Maxx was sent the lovely Budding Designers Boy’s V-neck Sweater from the Autumn-Winter 2013 Collection to review.

The Autumn-Winter range is fantastic, there is a huge choice available including some other lovely sweaters which will be needed over the coming months. I also have my eye on a gorgeous winter jacket on the website for Maxx.

The sweater is cute and colourful, it instantly adds a bit of fun to a child’s outfit. It is a very good fit and sits nicely on Maxx the arm length is perfect and there is room for Maxx to grow too which is always good.

The Budding Designer sweater is 100% cotton, it is soft to the touch and even Maxx said it is comfortable to wear. The sweater is machine washable and retained its shape, colour and softness after washing and drying.

The sweater can be worn on it’s own during hotter days as it is lightweight or it can be worn over a t-shirt on cooler days so you get the best of both worlds. If you have been struggling to get your little one to wear a sweater now the weather is cooling down give the Budding Designer sweater a try, it’s sure to be a hit.

Overall our Vertbaudet experience has been second to none. Delivery was quick and the sweater was packaged in a protective plastic pocket to make sure it arrived in perfect condition. The quality of the sweater is superb, you can tell a lot of care and attention has gone into making the sweater. I would highly recommend taking a look at the clothes available on Vertbaudet they are well made and reasonably priced too.

The Budding Designers Boy’s V-neck Sweater is priced at £19-£25 depending on the size, it is available in ages 2-14 years so you are safe in the knowledge if you both love it and want to buy it in a size up you can do so.

Vertbaudet’s Budding Designers Competition
Is your little one aged 4-8 and a budding designer? Vertbaudet are running a Budding Designers Competition where they are asking for children to design pyjamas and slippers using a template available on their website. The budding designer who is chosen as the winner will not only receive a voucher to spend at Vertbaudet to the value of £150 and a surprise gift they will also see their design sold in the Autumn-Winter 2014 collection! It’s a great excuse for your little ones to get creative. The competition closes on the 16th of September 2013.

* Maxx received a sweater for the purpose of this review. All opinion are my own and this is an honest review of Vertbaudet.
