I’m not sure about you, but I love having a few candles dotted throughout the house, not only do they look nice but they fill the house with a gorgeous scent and create a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Our outlet centre recently had a makeover and I was excited to see a Yankee Candle shop pop up during the revamp! I love Yankee Candles but am reluctant to buy online as I can’t smell them, now every time I visit the outlet centre I’m drawn into the shop by the lovely smell and pop in to see what new items are out.

On my most recent visit to the Yankee Candle store I saw a stand full of Easter products, there was the Bunny Cake candle which has been around for a little while now and is a firm favourite with me. I also came across two scents I hadn’t smelt before, the first one was Jelly Bean which has a lovely fruity scent and the second is Celebrate (pictured above) which is a sweet vanilla cake fragrance with a touch of lemon. There are also a few cute holders available this Easter, there are two votive holders, one is purple and has an egg design, the other is yellow with a chick design. At only Β£2.99 each they are really reasonably priced and make a lovely gift. The last Easter item I saw was the cutest little tea light holder I have ever seen, it’s a gorgeous white bunny with a yellow polka dot bow – adorable!

I was recently sent the Yankee Candle Celebrate fragrance and I love it, as soon as I lifted the lid I could smell the sweet lemon scent, it is a really uplifting fragrance perfect for Spring and Summer – it is sure to be a hit if you like the sweeter things in life! The candle is light yellow in colour and comes in the distinctive Yankee Candle glass jar, it is sure to look good no matter where you choose to put it in your home.

The large candles are priced at Β£19.99 and provide 110 to 150 hours of burning which make them great value for money, especially as the fragrance fills the whole house. The candles make a lovely alternative gift for Easter, I like chocolate, but I would much prefer a gorgeous Yankee Candle which will last for weeks.

I am a HUGE fan of Yankee candles – in January my local ASDA had all the christmas melts reduced to 50 and the small candles to 50p and the big ones half priced so I had a mega shop πŸ™‚ I recently bought Jelly Bean and think it’s fab
