Andrex Eco Climate Week Challenge

We were recently asked if we would like to take part in the Andrex Eco Climate Week Challenge to coincide with Climate Week which takes place between the 4th – 10th of March 2013.

Andrex Eco is the headline sponsor of Climate Week 2013 – Climate Week is Britain’s biggest change campaign, it promotes ways in which people can live a more Eco Friendly life and help to combat climate change.
Andrex Eco want everyone to know that we can all do little things at home that have a big impact on our planet. For example changing your toilet roll to a sustainable product. Andrex have a new Eco Toilet Roll which is made from recycled fibres and bamboo!
As a family we try to be eco friendly yet I am aware there are a lot of other things we could be doing. We are very conscious about recycling. We recycle all of our cardboard, paper and all of our plastic bottles and containers. We also have a compost bin in the garden. I’m hoping that during the challenge we will become aware of other things we can do to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

We were sent some items to help with the challenge.. We received:

    • A Canvas Bag (I love this)
    • A 4 pack of Andrex Eco Toilet Paper
    • A Water Hippo
    • Bamboo Socks
    • Oliver Heath’s Eco Chic Book
    • A Shower Timer
    • A Recycling Bin
If you would like to get involved with Climate Week head over to www.andrex.co.uk/sustainability where you will find lots of information and tips on how you can live a more eco friendly lifestyle.
Be sure to check back on the 10th of March to see how we got on with our Eco Challenge! We will also be running a competition with Andrex very soon so keep your eyes peeled, details will follow soon.

The water hippo sounds interesting, so I’m guessing it takes up room so there’s not as much water in the tank?
