I love the change in season from Summer to Autumn, it brings with it not only changes to our weather and interior style but also to our fashion, and I love nothing more than an oversized jumper and cosy boots.
Each year fashion changes and this year is no exception, so today I’m sharing a few Autumn/Winter boots that would be a great addition to your wardrobe would be. Women’s calf boots are perfect for this season they are easy to style with so many different outfits whether you’re still rocking a skirt or you’re wrapping up warm in trousers and a Winter jacket.
I love leopard print, I’m aware it’s a bit like marmite and you either love it or hate it but for me, it’s definitely a love affair. Leopard print boots are available in a huge selection of different lengths, colours and styles this year so if you’re also a fan you’re spoilt for choice. Leopard print is a great choice, it instantly adds style and colour to any outfit without being overpowering and loud.
If you don’t own a pair of cowboy boots then now is the time to get them. Cowboy boots are back and they’re available in classic designs but also in newer modern designs which will give any outfit an edge. You don’t have to be herding cattle on a ranch to rock these stylish boots, whether you’re heading to a festival or for a day of shopping they’re practical, comfortable and perfect with a pair of skinny jeans.
Being Scottish I love Tartan, it’s part of my heritage and I’m happy to use any excuse to wear a bit of tartan. This season tartan print is making an appearance everywhere, coats, scarves, t-shirts and of course boots, its back and it’s better than ever. Like leopard print boots, tartan lets you give your outfit a unique touch that can be worn day or night and dressed up or down. It’s available in so many different colours which means you might need to invest in a few pairs, you could choose from blue tartan, grey tartan or the most recognisable red tartan.
Firstly, let me start by saying we’re talking fake snakeskin here! Snakeskin boots are big news this season and they’re popping up everywhere from the catwalk to the school run. Snakeskin boots can be costly if you’re looking for a designer pair, but you’ll be able to find them in many high street stores so no matter your budget you’ll be able to find a pair that’s right for you. Please don’t buy real snakeskin boots, there are so many amazing faux snakeskin boots out there that look amazing.
If you thought knee-high boots have had their day then think again, they’re making a comeback for Autumn/Winter 2018. Kneehigh boots are in high demand and that means there’s a lot of choice, you can find super stylish lace front boots, classic black knee-high boots, suede boots which are perfect for evening wear or how about some stylish and practical zip boots.
That’s just a small selection of boots that are making waves in the fashion world this Autumn/Winter and I hope it has given you some ideas on what’s hot this season.
