Most people are starting to think about Christmas now and even if you don’t want to it’s hard to avoid it with all of the Christmas items, the music and all of the 800 hours to Christmas Facebook statuses (Do we really need to know that?!).
Chocolate is a must have a Christmas I haven’t checked but I’m 99% sure it’s the law! As a child I remember opening my stocking and finding different chocolates inside then having chocolate for breakfast – Yum. This Christmas Maxx will get some chocolates in his stocking and I’m sure a few selection boxes too.
Cadbury’s have a lovely selection of Christmas treats to choose from, there are family favourites and future classics available.
I’ll give you a quick run-down of the Christmas themed chocolates available, there is the Mousse Snowman, the Winter Wonderland Bar, fun Freddo Faces, Freddo Popping Candy (Yummy), Button Tubes, Dairy Milk Bar, Advent Calenders and of course the selection boxes.
Some of the items have been given a Christmas make over, the Buttons Tube packaging is sporting Santa hats, Freddo packaging is looking festive with hats and snowflakes, the Dairy Milk bar is sporting the Christmas jumper look and the Advent Calender and Selection Box is decorated with a friendly snowman design.
As well as the products that have undergone a festive packaging revamp there are two yes two (us lucky things) new Christmas themed chocolates for 2013. There is the Mousse Snowman which is a snowman shaped treat consisting of a fluffy vanilla mousse centre covered by a Dairy milk shell! I haven’t had the change to try this yet but it sounds delicious and I will be keeping my eyes peeled in the shops so I can try one. The second item for 2103 is the Winter Wonderland bar, this is limited edition and almost too nice to eat – I said almost! The bar is made up of tiny milk chocolate and white chocolate Christmas tree shapes chunks, the bar is great for sharing whilst watching a Christmas film or as a treat for yourself (I won’t tell if you don’t).
If any of the above tickles your fancy you can buy the products from all leading supermarkets, although I’m sure you are all regular Cadbury fans and know where to buy them already.
I was sent a selection of products from the Cadbury Christmas range for the purpose of this review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
