Layers, cosy knits and berry shades are all the rage this Autumn and I for one am loving the trends this year. I have always been a fan of Autumn fashion, there’s nothing nicer than an oversized cosy jumper, or thick woollen scarf to keep you feeling warm and looking great.
I spoke about wanting to keep wearing dresses through Autumn recently, I loved wearing them throughout the Summer this year and wanted to continue wearing them through autumn and winter. I actually picked up a couple of new dresses online just yesterday and can’t wait for them to arrive and to start wearing them. Now I can tick dresses off of my Autumn list, but I still have a lot to buy, a winter jacket, new winter boots, a few pairs of warm tights to pair with the dresses when it’s chilly, a few jumpers/cardigans and some accessories.
I haven’t had the chance to get into town recently so have been looking online for the items I want to buy and have found a few items I love over at Esprit.co.uk. There’s actually too many items to mention, but I thought I would share a few of my favourites with you.
Soft ankle boots with faux fur lining
Let’s start with the boots. Everyone needs a pair of cosy winter boots and these look lovely. I really like the colour, the style and I think they would be easily paired with a lot of different outfits.
Felt shopper with stud embellishments
Every girl needs a good sized bag for all those *cough* essential items. I love the colours and studded design of this bag, and also the size. I prefer a shoulder strap bag, so the fact I can use the handles or shoulder strap is a bonus.
Textured coat with wool
I love, love, love this coat! The colour, the style, the length – everything! During the colder months I tend to gravitate towards darker colours, so this coat would definitely give my outfits a bit of colour, and mustard is a lovely autumnal colour.
Textured oversized jumper
As I mentioned above, there’s nothing nicer than an oversized jumper in autumn. I really like the colour and style of this jumper, it’s also really reasonably priced too. This would look lovely with a pair of jeans and the black boots I pictured above.
Textured skirt in a wool blend
The first thing that drew me to this gorgeous skirt was the colour, it’s a lovely light berry red and is made of a wool blend which makes it the perfect autumn/winter skirt.
So, what do you think of my choices? What’s your staple item for autumn?
