Gone Crabbing – Seaside Themed Clothes and Souvenirs

If you have come across Gone Crabbing before you will have seen the lovely range of seaside souvenirs that are available, if you haven’t let me introduce you to them.

Gone Crabbing was established in 2008 by Susie who saw a gap in the market for quality seaside souvenirs. The range was inspired by Susie’s home country and the beautiful coastal resorts she has visited all over the UK. Susie started by producing kids t-shirts featuring funky, seaside designs in bright, bold colours. The range has since grown to include adult clothes, soap, stationery and homeware products. Colin the crab is the original and most popular character but over the years more fun characters have been added to the range, including; Steve the Seagull, Rod the Cod, Mike the Mussel, Shaun the Prawn, John the Jellyfish and Sally the Starfish. Also included in the designs are traditional seaside icons; beach huts, buckets and spades, footprints in the sand and stripy deckchairs.

There is a lovely range of hoodies available for kids in the Little Nippers range and adults in the Big Nippers range with different designs and colours available. Maxx was sent the very cute ‘You’re gonna need a bigger bucket’ hoodie to review. The hoodie is navy in colour and has Colin the crab on the back with the phrase ‘You’re gonna need a bigger bucket’ in a thought bubble. There is also a small Gone Crabbing label on the front of the hoodie. The hoodie has a large pocket to the front and a good sized hood, the hoodie is ideal for keeping little ones warm in the colder months.

The Bigger Bucket hoodie is available in navy, green or red and there is also a t-shirt version of the design. The hoodie is made from 70% cotton and 30% polyester. It is soft inside and Maxx said it is comfortable to wear and keeps him warm. The hoodie is priced at £19.99. I think the hoodie makes a lovely gift for little ones, it is good quality, looks lovely with jeans and a t-shirt and has a fun aspect to it too so it also appeals to kids.

Gone Crabbing also offers a lovely range of handmade soaps made in a soapery especially for Gone Crabbing. There are 7 different scented soaps available, each individual wrapped – even the packaging is lovely! We received a bar of the Really Lovely Smelly Soap which is funnily enough really lovely! I couldn’t stop smelling it when it arrived, it has a lovely flowery fragrance which was a hit with Maxx too. He insisted on using it straight away and loved it, he made me smell his hair after he had a bath saying it made his hair smell lovely. The soap would make a great stocking filler this Christmas, they are priced at £3.99 each and are not tested on animals.

Overall I was really impressed with the products available at Gone Crabbing, there is a wide choice of items for children, adults and the home. The items are good quality, fun and don’t cost the earth! Gone Crabbing gets a 10 out of 10 from us!
