Maxx’s 4th Birthday
I can’t believe it my gorgeous nephew Maxx turned 4 on the 13th of January. It seem like just yesterday I was watching him being born!
Maxx spent the night before his birthday at his dads and was due to arrive at 1pm so we all set about getting everything ready. His presents and cards were all put on the unit (mainly to stop people tripping over them), then the room had to be decorated. That meant; banners, balloons, table cloth and of course lots of messy confetti!
When he arrived he was really excited and couldn’t wait to open his presents. He loved opening them and was really excited when he opened Master Moves Mickey. We all had a good laugh as he squeezed Mickeys nose and got a fright when he started to move. We spent the next 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get Mickey to do the hand stand, it was worth the wait though!
Maxx was very lucky and got a lot of lovely presents which means finding more room in the house. He also got some money to put in his bank. He’s going to have more money than me when he’s older!
After the presents had been opened Maxx decided he wanted to play boxing on the XBOX he loves it and spent over an hour playing it last time. Whilst he was playing we started getting his party food ready.
We all sat down and had lots of yummy party food, then came the cake. Maxx is currently SpongeBob mad so we hunted high and low for a SpongeBob cake, thankfully his granddad managed to find one so we all sung Happy Birthday and got stuck into the delicious cake! As you can see we all got stuck into the cake before I got the chance to take a photo!
After Maxx’s party we all settled down to build the fantastic walking mammoth toy. Unfortunately about 15 minutes in everything went dark, the cause was a power cut, our third in 2 weeks. The joys! As I sat back and laughed at the situation everyone else carried on building the mammoth using torches which was a task and a half.
Maxx had a fantastic day (we all did). The next big milestone for Maxx will be attending school in September. None of us can believe it’s come around so quickly!
Happy Birthday Maxx
