With a little over a month to go until Mother’s Day (it’s the 15th of March this year) there’s no better time to start planning a special treat for your mum. It can be difficult to think of something special that you know she will love so hopefully the below suggestions will help give you a couple of ideas.
A trip to the Spa
Rest and relaxation is something we all need from time to time and mums definitely deserve to relax. For the ultimate relaxation experience take a look at Urban Retreat which is situated in Harrods, London. Urban Retreat offers a taste of Moroccan culture with their Moroccan Hammam Marocmaroc female only retreat.
As well as the Hammam experience there’s a fantastic range of beauty treatments available which includes facials, massages, wraps and exfoliations. A spa trip is sure to be a great treat for your mum to enjoy this Mother’s Day.
How about a trip to a country manor or gorgeous tea room for afternoon tea with all the trimmings. It will give you both plenty of time to catch up, enjoy each others company and sample some delicious afternoon tea in the process.
There are usually lots of really reasonable offers online where you can buy red letter style afternoon tea for two or of course you could take her somewhere local that you know she will love.
Theatre show or Concert
If your mum likes the theatre or music how about a trip to see her favourite band or her favourite show at the theatre. If you’re in or near London a trip to the west end would be one to remember!
If you can’t get a show for Mother’s Day wrap the tickets up and give them to her for Mother’s Day, she’ll have something to look forward to.
Makeover and Photo shoot
Everyone wants their mum to feel special so how about a trip to a photo studio that includes a makeover. Starting with a makeover then a photo shoot to finish the session and having some lovely photographs to look back on is always special. Make sure you check the terms of the offer as some of the photo shoots include a photo others charge extra for the photos.
