It’s officially summer and we have been lucky enough to have some glorious weather for the last few days – thank you weather gods! I love the summer months, the sun is shining (occasionally, this is the UK after all), it’s the holiday season and trips to the beach are a regular occurrence. It also means gorgeous summer clothes, what’s not to love?!
I love clothes shopping in the Summer, everything’s so bright and beautiful. This year I have already bought a few new summer items for a holiday that has just past but I’m still on the lookout for a few more items for another upcoming holiday and I’m loving the huge range of summer clothes that are available.
Personally, my first stop when it comes to clothes shopping in store or online is the ‘Just In’ section. This section showcases the newest items to hit the shelves so you know they’ll be on trend and perfect for the summer season. My next holiday is in July, it’s a weekend holiday to Wales and I want to buy a couple of new items to wear. I have managed to find a lot of items I like which is unusual for me (I’m pretty fussy), I thought I would share a few of my favourite items from Quiz that I’m loving for summer 2017, there are two gorgeous dresses and a lovely playsuit.1) Blue and White Striped Embroidered Shirt – £26.99
I love everything about this stunning shirt. The contrasting blue and white, the embroidered flowers, the length and the style – it’s gorgeous. I would team this with a pair of denim or white jeans and a cute pair of heels. I would be happy to wear this shirt for a lot of different occasions, I think it’s one of those items that are really versatile and can be dressed up or dressed down.
2) Yellow Floral Print Frill Playsuit – £26.99
I always think yellow is such a lovely colour, especially in the summer, it’s really cheerful. This was actually the first item that caught my eye on the Quiz website. It has spaghetti straps, frills, floral print and is pulled in at the waist, it looks so summery. I would pair this lovely playsuit with a pair of white wedge sandals – simple and summery!
3) Light Blue Bardot Embroidered Tie Sleeve Tunic Dress – £24.99
I love the off the shoulder trend, it’s hugely popular at the moment which means tops and dresses are available in a range of colours, styles and patterns. This summer is the first year I have really enjoyed wearing dresses, I normally stick to jeans, loose trousers and shorts, but having recently lost weight I feel more confident in wearing dresses so bought two off the shoulder dresses for my recent holiday. There’s so much to love about this dress, the gorgeous shade of blue, the embroidered floral pattern and the tie sleeves which are super stylish. I love the way this style of dress looks, they skim all the right places on me and I finally feel like I have found a dress style that suits my shape.
What’s your must-have item for summer 2017?
