Degustabox September 2015

It’s time to unveil last months goodies from Degustabox. This month was probably one of my favourite boxes so far. It was packed full of new products to try but also some of my favourites. There was chocolate, sweets, and a lot of drinks I hadn’t tried before.

Mallow and Marsh

If you like marshmallows you’ll love this product. The Mallow & Marsh Raspberry mini box contains 3 bundles of gooey marshmallow perfection. The marshmallows are 100% natural, sweet and fruity and are packed with tangy raspberry flavour. The boxes are priced are £2 each, which I do think is on the pricey side for 3 marshmallows but then I’m not a marshmallow connoisseur so maybe that’s a bargain?!

This is the item I ate first – delicious Reese’s cups! I hadn’t tried these little bites of heaven until recently, shock horror I know! Inside the September box were 2 packets of Reese’s, that’s 6 scrumptious cups in total. I did share them out though as my mum loves them so I gave her a packet to enjoy. They really are a tasty treat, especially if you love peanut butter.

Bassets and Maynards

Jelly Babies are loved by young and old, and it’s easy to see why – they taste delicious! What could be better than a packet of Jelly Babies, all those delicious flavours. I’ll tell you what… a packet full of just pink and purple jelly Babies… NOM! This packet is jam packed with our favourite flavours, what’s not to love! What’s more, they are priced at just £1.50 a pack.

If chocolate and marshmallows don’t take your fancy then how about some delicious Maynards Wine Gums! What’s more, this pack contain only red and black wine gums. The ultimate packet of Wine Gums. These are priced at just £1.50 per packet which I think is a reasonable price, especially for my favourite flavours.

The Good Cider

The Good Cider grow apples in their own orchard in Spain. When Autumn arrives the best of the best apples are selected to create the Craft Cider. Using traditional methods, the fresh apple juice is used to create The Good Cider. It’s a tasty cider with just a hint of alcohol, perfect for everyone who enjoys the taste of cider. There’s a great range of flavours available, apple, pear, peach, and wild berries.

If you live life on the go, this is the product for you. Up & Go is a nutritious breakfast drink designed for people on the go. The drinks are packed full of fibre, protein and calcium. I really enjoyed the chocolate flavour drink and although I wouldn’t drink it every day it’s great for those days I have to rush out of the door in the morning.

Complete Energy

Don’t have time for your morning coffee which is usually what gives you the get up and go? No problem.. Compete Energy Bites are tasty (if you like coffee), low calorie chocolate infused with caffeine. 1 bite equates to 1 large premium coffee. These are great for taking out and about as the packet is so small. The bites are individually sealed to keep them fresh. If you do buy these please note they are very high in caffeine so read the box and make sure you are happy with everything before trying them. People react to products in very different ways.

Sweet Sally Tea

Firstly, I have to say how much I love the packaging, the glass bottle makes drinking tea on the go possible. Sweet Sally Tea is a crisp and refreshing black tea with a hint of citrus and spice. The tea contains organic Ceylon black tea, Spanish oranges, Sicilian lemons, a touch of organic sugar and a blend of cinnamon and cloves.

Kent's Kitchen

Love noodles? In this months box was a pot of Kent’s Kitchen Spicy Szechuan Posh Noodles. The noodles are so quick and easy to make, simply add water and stir well to create a delicious, authentic Asian noodle dish. They are perfect for adding to lunch, dinner or even as a quick snack if you’re feeling peckish.

The Olive Shop

If you use Olive oil in a lot of your cooking this product is for you. The Olive Shop’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil is grown in the southerly regions of the Peloponnese, where the Koroneiki and Athinolia olives grow. Families gather the annual harvest and the result is a delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil which has an intense fruity aroma.
