I have listed 3 amazing National Trust sites below that I would love to visit. It will show you what types of destinations you can visit and also give you some inspiration if you’re looking for locations to visit.
- Bodiam Castle is a 14th-century moated castle, located in East Sussex. This stunning castle will be a hit with children and adults alike thanks to the beautiful surroundings, medieval splendour and exciting events. There’s even a tea room to enjoy a snack and drink after an exciting day reliving history.
- A secret walk at Attingham would be a lovely way to spend a Spring afternoon. Take a leisurely stroll through the Shropshire countryside where you can spot many types of wildlife, take in the sights of the Attingham estate and enjoy the natural surroundings the walk has to offer.
- Stourhead gardens is described as ‘a living work of art’ and it’s easy to see why. The landscape garden is world famous and has a beautiful lake walk, woodlands to explore and you can take a glimpse into the past by visiting the beautiful Stourhead House. With special doggy opening hours, you can even take the dog with you so this really would make a lovely family day out for everyone.
