Woolly and Tig One Step at a Time – DVD Review

We have some very exciting news to share with you all! A brand new Woolly and Tig DVD is being released by Abbey Home Media on the 16th of September.

Woolly and Tig has been a firm favourite with Maxx since he was young and he still loves it at the age of 4, it’s also one of the programs that I don’t mind sitting and watching too.

Woolly and Tig follows the life of a young girl called Tig and her friendly toy spider Woolly. The DVD explores the different feelings Tig has when she experiences something new. Woolly her toy spider comes to life through animation and helps Tig understand her feelings in a fun and child friendly manner.

There are 15 fun filled episodes lasting over an hour. Each episode lasts roughly 5 minutes – the perfect length of time to keep the attention of little ones. The episodes on the new One Step at a Time DVD are: One Step at a Time, Timmy’s Monster, Splash, The Painting Day, Museum of Imagination, The Dog, Bus Ride, Supermarket, The Hospital, Sleep Over, Busy, Big Stomps, The Dance Class, The Clown and The Party.

I love the fact there is always a different lesson in each episode. I think it is important that there is an element of education to DVD’s and there certainly is with Woolly and Tig but in a very fun way. On more than one occasion Maxx has asked a question relevant to what has happened in an episode of Woolly and Tig which shows he is taking an interest in what is happening. I think it really does help little ones explore and understand their own feelings.

If you have a Woolly and Tig fan in your house or are looking for a new DVD to keep your little ones entertained I would highly recommend Wooly and Tig One Step at a Time, it is a fun and educational DVD.

Now for some exciting news! We have not 1, not 2 but 3 copies of Woolly and Tig One Step at a Time to give away thanks to Abbey Home Media. You can enter the competition here: Woolly and Tig DVD competition.
